- Does RolePatch invent experience I don't have?
- No. The system is instructed to use only the resume text and extra notes you supply. Unsupported requirements should show up as gaps, not as fake accomplishments, titles, tools, or metrics.
- What does the free preview include?
- A fit score, three matched requirements with evidence, one or two key gaps, a tailored summary paragraph, and two sample resume bullets. The preview is meant to be useful enough to judge whether the paid pack is worth buying.
- What do I get after paying?
- A downloadable pack with four grounded resume bullets, a tailored summary, a cover-letter draft, a screening answer, gap-framing guidance, and a truth map showing the source snippets behind the paid bullets.
- Why is it only $4?
- Because this is a one-shot tool for one real application, not a monthly job-search suite. The pricing is deliberately low-friction so buyers can treat it like a small upgrade to one important application.
- Do you store my resume?
- The free preview does not keep the full raw resume or job-description text in the preview record. If you buy, the raw inputs are kept only long enough to generate and deliver the paid pack, then cleared from the active order record.
- Can I paste a PDF or LinkedIn URL?
- Not in v1. Paste plain text from your resume and the job description. That keeps the grounding layer simpler and makes it clearer what the model is allowed to use.
- How long does delivery take?
- Usually under a minute after checkout completes. The pack page refreshes automatically while the files are being assembled.
- What's your refund policy?
- Two automatic paths from your delivery page: if our pipeline flagged your pack as failed (the generator errored, grounding rejected the output, ZIP assembly couldn’t complete after retries), you can refund within 90 days; and if our logs show you never opened or downloaded the pack after delivery, you can refund within 30 days. Both run through Stripe from the pack page — no email required. Outside those paths, email rolepatch@forage.botand we’ll work it out case-by-case.
- Will this submit applications for me?
- No. RolePatch helps you prepare stronger materials for one application. It does not auto-fill job portals or mass-apply on your behalf.
