Privacy Policy

This policy explains what RolePatch collects, how we use it, and how long we keep it. Questions can be sent to rolepatch@forage.bot.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact information you provide, typically your email address.
  • Payment and order metadata such as purchase time, price, refund status, and Stripe identifiers.
  • The job description, resume text, and optional extra notes you submit so we can generate the preview or paid pack.
  • Generated output such as summaries, bullets, cover-letter drafts, screening answers, truth maps, delivery files, and related order status records.
  • Feedback and support messages you send through the site or by email.
  • Basic technical logs such as IP address, user agent, request path, timestamps, and diagnostic metadata generated when the site is used.

2. How we use information

  • To generate the free preview and paid application pack.
  • To process payments, refunds, and delivery emails.
  • To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
  • To answer support requests and review product feedback.
  • To maintain accounting, tax, and legal records.

We do not sell personal information or use third-party ad trackers on the site.

3. Providers we use

  • Stripe for payment processing and refunds.
  • Vercel for hosting, server functions, blob storage, and privacy-focused site analytics.
  • Resend for transactional delivery emails.
  • OpenRouter and one or more upstream model providers to generate previews and paid packs from the text you submit.
  • GitHub for internal issue tracking tied to feedback and support workflows.

4. Retention

The free preview record does not keep the full raw resume text or full raw job-description text. If you purchase a pack, the raw inputs are stored only long enough to assemble and deliver the paid files.

After the paid pack is assembled, the active order record clears the raw job-description, resume, and extra-notes fields. Generated output, order metadata, refund records, and delivery artifacts may remain longer for re-downloads, support, accounting, security, or legal reasons.

5. Your choices

Do not submit sensitive personal information that is not needed for the service. If you want us to remove an existing order or delivery artifact, contact rolepatch@forage.bot. We will review the request subject to legal, accounting, fraud, and operational retention needs.
